The program:

Group meeting and departure from Novi Sad at 09:00 am in front of locomotive, next to the train station. Hour and a half journey to the first destination.

APATIN
Traveling through idyllic Vojvodina villages and learning about the history and culture of the region. Vojvodina represents a small Europe, because it is inhabited by nearly 30 different nations that have settled in this area over time.
Arrival in the Alaska region on the banks of the Danube in the border area of Apatin. A 45- minute boat ride will allow you to enjoy the beauties of the Danube. Due to the preserved originality of the water regime, characteristic marsh features have been preserved in this area, such as the last large fragments of natural marsh forests, composed of willows, poplars and oaks, which make Aptinski rit one of the most important hatcheries in the area of the entire course of the Danube. After the ride, a visit to the Temple of the Council of the Holy Apostles, whose interior will not leave you indifferent. Departure to "Dida Hornjakov" farmstead, where a lunch break and a tour of the ethno household is planned. After lunch, travel to Sombor.

SOMBOR

Sombor, a city of rich cultural heritage, guardian of old tradition and lavish history in which many artists and poets created their most prominent works of art. Where the old carriage still wanders the streets of the city today, maintaining the tradition of the past. Upon arrival in Sombor, the greenest city in all of Serbia, a city tour with a local tour guide will wait for you. A tour of the building of the former Županija, and today in the function of the Municipal Assembly of Sombor, boasting the largest art painting in the former Yugoslavia, oil on canvas "Battle of Senta", the Sundial, the Karmelićanska church and the largest organ in the country. After the tour of the city, we will visit the gallery "Milan Konjović" and the museum "Sombor", within which you will get acquainted with the history of the city. After touring the city center, the group departs to Novi Sad.
